Once mixed, a hydroponic nutrient solution will remain in optimal condition for about 1-2 weeks. After that, it can become a breeding ground for bacteria or fungi, which could harm your plants. To keep things fresh, replace the solution every couple of weeks, and give it a good oxygen boost by mixing it well before use.
