Eudicot

Short for eudicotyledon, meaning 'true dicot'. A flowering plant with two seed leaves, net-like leaf veins, and flower parts typically in multiples of four or five. Eudicots include roses, sunflowers, beans, and most broad-leaved plants. They represent about 75% of all flowering plants.
